If you are looking for an attorney who has done it all, Victor Guzman is your guy. Before becoming of counsel at Scaffidi & Associates as a personal injury, products liability, and medical malpractice attorney, Victor worked on the defense side, litigating complex cases on behalf of doctors and hospitals. Before that, he spent several years working as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx and then as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida. Victor brings all of that experience to the table for his current clients.
From his years working as a prosecutor, he gained valuable trial experience and a knack for knowing when the other side is trying to hide something. His opponents know he won’t back down or put up with them bullying his clients in the courtroom. And he is a valuable asset to anyone who has a complex case that is going to require expert testimony or intensive discovery.
While working as a defense attorney, he learned what tactics medical providers will use to try and defend themselves in court. He also knows what sort of evidence is needed to present a strong suit and force the other side and their insurance companies to take a claim seriously and pay up.
Victor speaks both English and Spanish fluently. When he is not in the office, he enjoys time mountain biking, golf, and spending time with his daughters.
